Our Chicago based client specializing in licensed media content is looking for a Web Developer with PHP knowledge and creative problem solving skills. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to experience what it's like to be a part of a fast paced and quickly expanding startup. Must be able to multi-task and wear many hats while thinking outside of the box. Candidates who have done their own projects and contributed to the open source community is also a plus. Strong interest in music is a HUGE plus. We are expecting salary to fall between $50-60K + full medical and dental benefits.

Required Skills:

• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills

• Experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks: jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Prototype etc.

• Experience maintaining Apache web servers in a Linux environment

• Strong organizational skills

• Experience with Drupal 6.x is preferred

• Excellent communication skills in person, by phone, and via email

• OOP and Patterns, Scrum, Agile methodologies

• Strong understanding of Ajax, HTML5 and developing for screens of various sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile)
