As a private equity backed Facilities Management business, this innovative organisation is itself a division of one of the UK’s leading Service groups. The business supports a range of clients across several key sectors through the provision of real estate & property repair, maintenance & capital investment services to the public & private sector. With forecasted revenues at £400m & continued profitable growth strategy, a high profile opportunity exists for a portfolio to support 3 regional contracts / business units, annual value £30m. AS Senior Financial Controller (FD designate) Your brief includes:

•Delivering high quality contract & business unit financial direction, operational business partnering, analysis and management information, KPIs’, plans, budgets & forecasts
•Business partnering the 3 Contract General Managers & operations management, supporting the decision making process
•Leading & challenging forecasts & budgets, ensuring these are supported by accurate management information from your finance team (5-10staff)
•Acting as a change agent through understanding & influencing the business model, job & W-I-P project management, operational / financial process re-engineering, reducing costs & cultivating opportunities for margin improvement
•Delivering financial & operational actions to impact balance scorecard positive results

As a qualified accountant, you will demonstrate excellent financial control or finance directorship experience (financial planning, analysis) and strong business partnering skills. A hands on approach, strong staff leadership experience & the ability to champion robust financial systems & controls are prerequisite.
