Job Responsibilities:
•Assess existing ETL programs, job configuration, and sequencing
•Identify opportunities for optimization, streamlining, and simplicity ETL processes and programs
•Evaluate existing software and version (IBM InfoSphere 8.1) and benefits of upgrading version and/or moving re-engineered ETL processes to an alternative platform (Example: MS SSIS)
•Document and present findings and recommended options and re-engineering plan at the executive, manager, and staff levels
•Provide hands-on technical implementation and technical leadership in implementing approved re-engineering changes
•Communicate frequently and effectively with the client and Unissant management
•Identify opportunities for furthering clients’ efficiencies and effectiveness in the data integration / data warehousing area.

Job Requirements:
•15+ years working in a professional information technology role in a combination of hands-on implementation and engineering leadership positions.
•10+ years demonstrated experience with designing and implementing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) software, processes, and programs in complex environments
•5+ years implementing IBM InfoSphere IS (DataStage) solutions inclusive of version 7.x up to the latest version 8.5 and/or 8.7.
•Experience evaluating and implementing ETL processes with a variety of ETL software, beyond DataStage, such as Microsoft SSIS, AbInitio, Informatica, Pervasive, etc
•Strong communication skills including a strong ability to present information to a variety of audiences in a clear, crisp, and understandable manner
•Self-starter with the ability to proactively identify and define the activities needed to accomplish an objective
•Collaborative and goal-oriented
•Experience in a banking and/or financial services related customer / business is a differentiator, but NOT required.
