Our client has been central to the defence of the United Kingdom for more than 50 years. Due to company growth they are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner to join their HR team.

Role: HR Business Partner
As HR Business Partner you will be responsible for:

+ Working in partnership with the business to contribute to formulating the people plan for the business area to ensure the delivery of value added HR activity
+ As a senior member of the HR team, contributes to the design, development and delivery of the people strategy which enables our client to become an employer of choice
+ Supporting the development and resourcing of management teams within the business to support high performance and the realisation of potential
+ Working in partnership with HR People Services and professional Specialists to ensure effective joint working and a seamless service to managers
+ Coaching and supporting the Director and their management teams to improve employee communication and engagement
+ Providing advice, data, interpretation and guidance on HR policy and ER/TUPE issues
+ Contributing to the development of best practice in the areas of resourcing, reward, talent and succession
+ Working closely with the business to identifying opportunities to deliver operational efficiencies, improving performance and delivery

Experience:
As HR Business Partner you will have experience of:

+ Degree Qualified or equivalent in Human Resources or other relevant discipline
+ CIPD qualified or or working towards the accreditation
+ Knowledge of HR policies and practices at a strategic level
+ Knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice
+ Previous experience of working as an HR Business Partner working at a strategic / senior level
+ Proven experience of developing pragmatic HR solutions to deliver business goals in line with the overall corporate approach
+ Experience of working within a unionised organisation would be beneficial
+ Experience of dealing with complex ER and TUPE issues
