Group Financial Accountant

£50,000 - £55,000 + £5,000 car/allowance + to 30% bonus + benefits

Operating within the highly competitive Retail & distribution sector, this market leader is currently undergoing significant transformation through a £1bn capital investment programme, resulting in a state of the infrastructure & service offering to customers. As a result, a career entry point currently exists for a Group Financial Accountant to support then group accounting team. A broad brief includes:

•Control of group financial reporting, analysis & presentation of results
•Review & analysis of monthly group costs
•Balance sheet reconciliation & review
•Group consolidation, subsidiary accounts & intercompany reconciliations
•Assisting with management of year end audit

As a qualified ACA, ACCA or CPA from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm, you will demonstrate strong technical ability, group consolidations & year-end accounting experience along with exposure to large operating or Plc businesses. The role demands an eye for detail, a deadline focus & the ability to interpret, collate & evaluate a range of complex technical accounting issues. The group offers excellent career development.
