Technical/Functional Skills

:

• Java / J2EE (7+ years)
• Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design Skills, Web Services
• Must have experience in service oriented architecture 
• XML and related technologies (XQuery, XPath)
• Experience with implementing and deploying solutions on Enterprise Service Bus platform is desirable.
• Background on Insurance Domain is desirable

Experience Required

:

• 7+ years of progressive experience developing complex Java / J2EE applications
• 3+ years leading a team of multiple developers (three or more) preferably on Weblogic Platform.
• 2+ years hands on experience with  XML and SOA based Webservices
• Strong  analysis and design skills, including requirements analysis, OO design patterns, and UML

Roles & Responsibilities

:

• Mentor the core application development team members through technical problem and challenges that arise during the various stages of the SDLC lifecycle
• Review the code and deliverable being created for the overall program
• Ability to guide the development team with prototype code and help with debugging when necessary.
• Identify and coordinate dependencies with external teams
• Analyze and define requirements for customer-specific development needs or  integration requirements
• Assist the project manager in managing the technical risks for the overall program.
• Single Point of contact for Integration Architect from customer team
