The ideal candidate will be a licensed P.E. who is highly effective in building and maintaining client relationships. This person will be responsible for growing the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing business in our Houston location and will be a key member of our leadership team.

Job Responsibilities:
o Leading business development efforts in the Houston area for MEP
o Develop annual business plan for MEP
o Manage profit/loss for Houston MEP unit
o Manage hiring and development of staff
o Serve as Project Manager and/or Project Director on MEP projects
o Negotiate scope of work and professional service fees
o Provide quality assurance and quality control oversight
o Responsible for client satisfaction
o Support and encourage inner-office and inter-office collaboration for sales and work sharing consistent with a team approach
o Represent the firm in professional, civic, and political activities and organizations

Preferred Experience:
o Project Engineer with 10 or more years of experience preferred.
o Licensed PE in the State of Texas required
o Project Management experience with project types such as commercial, educational, healthcare, retail and water/wastewater infrastructure
o Developing and maintaining client relationships
o Established client relationships in the greater Houston area
o Supervisory/leadership experience in developing and leading team members
