Job Description
This position is a combined focused role that manages an operational area to ensure implementations achieve the Operational Excellence standards; and participates directly in the development of IT related product services strategies around the Healthcare market business based upon market needs and characteristics. This position directly supports the Philips Healthcare Mission of: People focused, healthcare simplified.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
-Demonstrated understanding of technology strategy, delivery models, domain architectures, IT security, and governance and planning issues.
- Must be service and results oriented in order to respond to and support client needs, policy and standards in conjunction with operational results.
-Experience in system design, implementation and integration.
-Highly developed human relations skills, with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization, including the political level and with external customers.
-Substantial experience in a management role developing and implementing information technology security, risk mitigation strategies, information technology policy and standards and IT architecture models.
-Very strong interpersonal and communication skills with the professionalism to interact with and influence a variety of peers, senior business and technology managers, and senior clients. Very strong relationship building, mediation and negotiation skills.
-Strong management leadership skills evidenced by past performance.
-Demonstrated ability to lead change within a complex organization, and ability to manage diverse stakeholder needs and interests and build effective relationships within a large, multi-disciplinary environment.
-An effective decision maker, demonstrating innovation and results, oriented leadership, fiscal accountability, and strong customer service orientation.
-Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels. The ability to flexibly manage to tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.
-Strong project management skill.
-Demonstrated understanding of the Business Resiliency, Regulatory and Integrated Risk issues.
-Excellent presentation skills required.
Education:
-BS in Computer Science and 8 – 15 years enterprise IT experience preferred
-Healthcare institutional experience required.
-Master’s Degree, preferred or a Post-secondary degree in a discipline pertinent to the job function plus related management training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-CCNA
-CISSP certification preferred
-MCTS and/or MCITP preferred
-MS Windows OS certifications, Cisco, Juniper certifications a plus
-Healthcare and HIPAA knowledge with Clinical Informatics experience required
-Router, firewall and VPN installation and administration
