Job Description
As a lead member of the firm's annuity team, you will work as part of a team whose primary responsibilities are to support Annuity Operations. This person will work independently to perform complete analysis of client requests, production issues, and enhancements.
-Lead business requirement gathering sessions, document business requirements and obtain approval by all stakeholders.
-Able to connect the organizational goals to business objectives and then turn the actual business needs of the stakeholders into defined requirements.
-Translate the business requirements into a test strategy, planning, test design/preparation, test cases/scripts, test execution and reporting
-Identify a business need, problem or opportunity, define the nature of a solution that meets the need and justify the investment necessary to deliver the solution.
-Facilitate communication between organizations in aligning the needs of the business with capabilities delivered by IT.
-Serve as expert resource interdepartmentally
-Accountable for complex analysis on business problems and high-level planning with some project management.
-Evaluate the work effort to complete requirements and UAT testing to provide project estimates, project plans, business impact analysis and project charters.
-Follow defined standards and methodologies from the firm's SDLC and CMMI program.
-Coordinate triage of efforts for situations or systems with multiple problems/issues and assures root cause is found.
-Serve as a resource or mentor for all Business Analysts.
Job Requirements
-Experience with CSC related systems (nbA, wmA, csA, vantage) highly desirable.
-Demonstrate effective formal and informal leadership skills in order to guide others to a common goal.
-Motivate team to act in a way that enables the team to work together to achieve shared goals.
-Experience with analytical tools, e.g., decision tables, flow charts, business process flow.
-Experience with testing methodologies and tools.
-Strong working knowledge of systems design process and methodology
-Advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint, Project, Visio, ACCESS, and Excel.
-Working knowledge of SDLC and CMMI concepts.
-Bachelor’s Degree and 3- 5 years’ experience
Desired
-IIBA / Certified Business Analysis Professional (DBAP) Certification of competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) AXA BA Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt and /or Business Training/Certification (such as FLMI) desired.
-Business Analysis experience within an Annuities-based environment.
-Experience with analytical tools, e.g., decision tables, flow charts, business process flow.
