Inside Sales Supervisor (closed)

The company operates seven fully automated distribution centers and over 400 full-service branches in North America and international markets, providing a local presence for customers and a global network to serve multi-location businesses and multi-national corporations.
My client is currently in search of an Inside Sales Representative for their team in Edmonton, AB. Under the supervision of the Inside Sales Supervisor and utilizing the inside sales skills acquired through a minimum of 3-5 years of inside sales experience, the ideal candidate will be responsible to sell, grow and service existing accounts, create new customers, meet or exceed monthly sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Generate new and repeat sales and achieve sales goals and margins;
•Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions;
•Accurately process customer transactions including orders, quotes and returns;
•Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service;
•Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers;
•Call past customers and cold call new sales leads to generate sales;
•Maintain complete and accurate records of all customer information and transactions; and
•Support Outside sales representatives on quotes, orders and returns.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
•Electrical training from a qualified institute or possess equivalent strong industrial electrical market experience/knowledge;
•Previous experience in an industrial electrical distributor, manufacturer or electrical industry would be an asset.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
•Manage multiple relationships well;
•Highly motivated and committed with a desire to be successful;
•Effective time management skills;
•Able to maintain a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment;
•Detail oriented, strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills;
