 This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth in software and services for the Education Line of Business in Canada. Effectively collaborate with the other sales lines of business owners

including Software Sales, Services Sales, Delivery, CDP, ALM, and BA&T. Effectively collaborate with the other Education Sales Directors to continuously improve on sales performance and processes. 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS 

Drive the business performance for the Education line of business in Canada for both software and services 

Coordinates with the Canadian operations and finance teams to ensure smooth operations in Canada

Oversees the maintenance of accurate, timely, and documented pipelines and forecasts of opportunities and prospects for Canada, and provides appropriate communication to the VP of Sales and the Head of Education NA 

Participates in setting the vision and strategies of SAP’s Education Services Canada.

Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in Canadian Ed Services products and services. 

Leads the Ed Services Canadian sales organization, directs services, formulates sales objectives, performance standards and priorities with Education leadership team to satisfy Education revenue targets

 Proactively communicates with additional organizations within the company to support the sales effort and to supplement customers information base

Establish short and long-range objectives, specifying strategies and actions to achieve business goals. Confers with SAP Education management to establish policies and formulate SAP Education business plans.

 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Bachelor degree in a related field. MBA a plus 

Marketing and Sales concepts, demand generation support, pricing, pipeline management 

Strong business acumen 

Knowledge of Education sales processes and ecosystem tactics for success

 Organizational and program management skills, partner management 

Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work effectively with virtual teams 

Excellent oral and written communication skills both English. 

Feels comfortable working over the phone, e-mail, web-sharing, etc. Good Microsoft Office knowledge. 

WORK EXPERIENCE

 15+ years experience in a related role 

Strong Education background.
