Position Summary
The industry SME is accountable for developing, selling, and delivering industry specific business solutions to one or more accounts within an industry vertical. As the chief steward of the solution, the SME is responsible for setting strategy, defining solutions, managing the delivery of solutions, and overall client satisfaction.
The SME oversees the delivery, management and growth of such multi-disciplinary solutions. This position requires an industry-specialist background with experience in enterprise applications and process consulting. The incumbent must have the ability to interface with executives on multiple levels, manage a diverse client landscape, and leverage a remote onsite/offshore model.
Responsibilities
Solutioning
- Develop “go to market” and “opportunity-specific” solutions to help your industry vertical achieve its growth objectives
- Lead the development of complex but achievable solutions, including large scale strategic outsourcing
- Collaborate with practice leads and client managers within NTT Data to provide the client(s) with leading edge solutions
- Ability to accurately complete some minimal amount of monthly financial activities such as forecasting, invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable
- Bring vital industry knowledge and experience to support the field sales teams across North America to position key Solutions and Sales Plays.
- Evangelize and present Industry(vertical) led strategy and solutions for the vertical industries to all levels in customers and to work with local field sales teams to help build the sales strategies / account plans to enable sales to increase its lead in this industry.
- map / translate a customers needs / pain points to Industry solutions, and to present and differentiate the benefits of solution led approach and products against the competition.
- Lead or support the definition of solution architecture for Industry Vertical the SME is focused on, based on collaboration and creating process, technology and delivery collateral for those solutions (including where appropriate, relevant partner solutions).
