A power producer located in the northeast is searching for an experienced candidate to oversee power trading, origination, mid-marketing, and scheduling for the generation assets in the New York and New England ISO regions. The director is responsible for setting the portfolio strategies, managing the assets, managing risk, and optimizing portfolio returns. Other responsibilities include directing the bidding strategies for the portfolio and developing the hedging strategy for generation assets and load obligations.
