Position: Application Software Architect/ Java Architect

Requirements

• Comfortable with documenting requirements and system behaviour through use cases and various diagrams (sequence, state, flow)
• Recent hands-on experience with Spring, Java EE, Hibernate, JBoss, RESTfulWebservices, HTTP, XML/XSD, JSON, JUnit, Jenkins/Hudson, Maven, Eclipse, Linux/Unix, Databases and Agile/Scrum among others
• Is a plus to have experience with Fitnesse, Continuous Delivery process, Automated testing, Protocol design, ASN.1, ANSI-C, embedded software development, Liquibase, Component driven development
• Experience from telecom and vehicle industry
• Experience from High Availability design
• Experience of complex systems with many autonomous clients
• Expected to contribute to the initial assessment of the feasibility of business requirements
• Identifies influencing factors for the solution (e.g. communication mechanisms, process lifecycles, concurrency requirements)
• Responsible for ensuring that the implemented solution complies with given functional specifications, coding guidelines and customer quality requirements
• Expected to suggest alternative solutions and point out deficiencies related to quality requirements in projects to project managers when necessary
• Responsible to explain and communicate made decisions to stakeholders
• Participate in software development at least 30% of the assignment time
• Performs presentation of solutions to stakeholders
• Time estimation of the technical solution
