Do you have experience as an Accounting Manager in a large complex, environment accounting for project job costing and time keeping?  Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager for a 9-12 month contract engagement. Responsibilities will include accounting and consolidation of several entities, budgets, variance analysis and management reporting.  You will work with the accounting and operations teams and assist with other ad hoc requests and projects as they arise during the contract period.

The ideal candidate is a designated accountant (CA/CGA/CMA) with a solid financial accounting background in industry utilizing a large ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft or JD Edwards Enterprise One or OneWorld. You are detail-oriented, can meet deadlines and work well independently as well as with a team.  

You must have:
-proven experience in a job costing environment
-proven experience costing time/labour
-budget/forecasting expertise
-management reporting/variance analysis
-advanced level Excel skills
-excellent communication skills and are a very quick learner who is comfortable with a fast pace and changing priorities
