Job Description

Role Mandate:
This role manages the interdependencies as it relates to the implementation of a pharmacy initiative.  This role would monitor results to ensure compliance and sustainability of pharmacy programs and compiles feedback and questions from the field; to filter up to Senior Director/store support.  This role ensures that each pharmacy colleague affected by a project or initiative has one point of contact in the market for training. 
Accountabilities as it relates to the initiative:
Training for new initiatives engaged in a rollout:
Ensuring adequate training of new pharmacists, technicians and students
Coordinate and schedule rollout of developmental training programs as directed by VP Ops
Daily dialogue with Senior Director of Pharmacy, relative to programs, projects and store specific issues/opportunities.
Provide guidance to pharmacy manager regarding identifying and facilitating training requirements and level of coaching necessary to deliver expectations, assist when asked in providing feedback of performance and areas for improvement and development as it relates to the initiative. 
Ensure all Pharmacy Managers are properly trained through liaison with BU’s or stores of learning
Provide guidance, feedback and coaching that compliments Learning Stores training and ensure sustainability at the store level.
Standards:
Provide feedback to Senior Director on opportunities to improve workflow and process improvements to avoid duplication of work.
Ensure a 100% Planogram compliance and implementation to BU standard.
Act as a liaison to ensure effective collaboration between stores and merchandising, applying expertise in both fields to help provide clarity and reach agreement on specific standards of execution.
Tracking:
Timely review of programs and projects with Pharmacy Managers to ensure supplies are received at store level.
Continually monitor and communicate with Pharmacy Managers on execution and results.  Eg. Clinic and other program feedback
Achieve store level buy-in to ensure a highly professional pharmacy environment, and merchandising initiatives in order to drive sales
Track the rollout of new standards, programs, and planograms
Programs/Initiatives:
Contribute to the timely execution of Pharmacy programs, and project rollouts
Assist with new store opening and refurbishments, IT and respective project team

Job Qualifications

  • Coordinate and assist Pharmacy Manager in the setting up of all new stores with the use of the store check list.
    Assess and communicate feedback on projects, head office programs or layout concerns to central group
    Role Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of all departments within their area of responsibility including systems & reports preferred
  • 1 – 2 years of experience working in a retail pharmacy environment or similar.
  • Experience working in multiple formats a plus; Operational experience as a specialist, preferably in multiple departments
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, multi-tasking, interpersonal and team building skills
    Ability to motivate and influence others
  • Regular travel is necessary, often requiring overnight stays
