Basic Salary £22K, OTE £37K with excellent benefits package
My client a leading chartered institute is currently looking for a Sales Executive you join their commercial department. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating targeted sales from campaigns around the institute’s products/services (particularly around subscription services, events and sponsorship). Assist with the development of new market sectors and Assist with lead generation, booking sales appointments and managing customer enquiries.
The main duties will include:
To develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the institutes product and service portfolio, capabilities and other offerings from a business development perspective.
To develop public sector expertise and an understanding of the issues; initiatives; legislative agenda; priorities etc.
To generate leads for new business through research/contact and manage enquiries
To manage key accounts as directed
To ensure that the relationship management activity for key accounts is monitored and recorded. In particular, keeping the CRM database up-to-date with accurate information, after each customer contact.
To maintain accurate sales revenue records and budget reports
Key Experience Required
Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable
Proven sales experience (ideally around subscriptions, events and sponsorship)
Proven lead generation skills for B2B and public sector
Proven key account management experience
Excellent persuasive, influencing and negotiation skills in a sales situation
Commercial lead generating techniques including sales promotion
Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with current and
Excellent communicator by telephone, letter and e-mail
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and of CRM systems
