Manufacturing organization seeks an Assistant Corporate Controller to join their finance and accounting team.  This position will report to the Corporate Controller and assist the Director of Finance.  This role will be responsible for accounting operations, such as GL, cash management and forecasting, fixed asset accounting, payroll, and AP/AR. This role will support company's internal control framework by working with internal auditor's and department heads.

Responsibilities:

• Develop departmental operating and capital budgets by working together with department heads
• Reviews financial data of the company
• Oversees accounting procedures, SOX compliance, and internal controls ( enhancing, monitoring, implementing)
• Supervises and reviews accounting operations and the monthly financial statement close process

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required (Accounting/Finance)
• SOX experiece required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably w/in a manufacturing environment
