Responsibilities:

• Analyze client business needs and recommend innovative solutions that leverage technology to provide market differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences;
• Collaborate with an international team of Project Managers and Architects to understand client needs and communicate project progress;
• Write great code! Independently determine the best approach to solving complex business problems with technology;
• Mentor more junior staff members and be a role model for best practices in technical development.

Role Requirements:

• 3-7 years of application design & development experience;

• Experience with PHP 5, Web Services, XML/XSLT, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, Apache, Linux, MySQL;
• Knowledge of MVC architecture;
• Basic knowledge of system administration and software and hardware configuration; 
• Ability to make informed recommendations to customer IT staff; 
• Ability to troubleshoot pre- and post-production implementations; 
• Security, load balancing and performance;
• Familiarity with databases and data modeling/design techniques; 
• Data interface protocols; 
• Database software installation; 
• Database tuning;
• Prior experience in helping clients through the decision-making process;
• Fluent in Romanian and English, verbal and written communications;
• Experience with Zend Framework, Magento or Drupal a plus.
