Recovery Manufacturing Science and Technology, Oceanside

A temporary position is available in the recovery group of Manufacturing Science and Technology.  This group provides ongoing technical and scientific support and oversight for the manufacture of marketed products at the client?s state-of-the-art Oceanside, CA facility. In this position, you will assist with designing, developing, and implementing process analysis and data management systems supporting the biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

The responsibilities for this job are to create and improve computerized tools for the collection of manufacturing process data.  Currently, a program written in Matlab is used to extract data from various sources and populate an Excel spreadsheet.  In this position, you will need to work effectively as an individual to evaluate this program, identify any errors in the code, correct them, and suggest improvements where necessary.  Once these basic project objectives are met, you will work closely with subject matter experts from the group to educate them on how to make adjustments to the code in the future, and prepare simple work instructions that can be used for training purposes. 

Job Requirements

• Extensive experience with Matlab and Excel is required.
• Strong data systems architecture and data analysis skills with industrial experience developing and implementing data archives and associated client tools is also needed. 
• The successful candidate will be self-motivated and organized, with excellent communication and time management skills. 
• Experience with statistical process control methods and support of ongoing manufacturing operations using these skills is a plus.
