Logistics Support Analysis (closed)
My client a large international Aviation and Engineering company based in Gloucester are seeking a Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Engineer. You will be required to report to the Customer Services Manager, this challenging role will see you identify the LSA needs of products in development, then monitor activities until entry into service.
As the primary interface between the product and the support solution during the design phase, your responsibilities will include undertaking supportability activities and studies throughout the life cycle of the equipment, specifying the support elements (technical publications, initial spares provisioning, and training material) and analysing life cycle costs. You will also capitalise all LSA, maintainability and supportability tasks and maintain Logistics Support Analysis databases.
Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers and suppliers alike, experience of mechanical and aeronautical engineering, Integrated Logistic Support (encompassing supportability, maintainability, availability, reliability, testability and LCC) and project management. Advanced data processing abilities including the development and management of databases are also essential, plus the flexibility to travel overseas.
