Software Engineer (Java/J2EE)

Experience:
-2-5 years of medium to large-scale application development through complete lifecycle
-developing client-side web applications and expertise in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, with exposure to object-oriented JavaScript
-2+ years of experience developing Java/J2EE applications

Required Skills:
A successful candidate should have experience developing end-user applications
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong technical skills covering the design and implementation of cross platform distributed systems are a must
Object Oriented experience
Experience with GWT (Google Web Toolkit) is a must

Preferred Skills:
Exposure to at least two of the following technologies:
o Web Services
o Spring
o XML/XSLT/Xpath
o JavaScript Libraries (e.g. jQuery, Prototype, YUI, etc.)
A good knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL (JDBC)
Design modeling experience UML (Sequence, Class, Collaboration Diagrams)
Experience in developing applications in an ASP/SaaS environment

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
