Job Description
CDM Smith has an immediate need that can be located in either our San Francisco or Walnut Creek, CA office for a prominent wastewater professional. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by performing project management, planning, operational troubleshooting, and design of wastewater treatment plant upgrades and expansions.
Will focus on liquid stream processes, biological nutrient removal, and compliance with stringent nutrient limits.
Will also partner with CSM's to assist in pursuit of new wastewater business in Northern California. Will be the technical face of our operation and will help win work based on reputation.
Job Requirements
A successful CDM Smith candidate will have: B.S. in engineering (M.S. or PhD preferred). PE required (California PE preferred). 15-25 years of progressive experience within process engineering on wastewater projects, both liquid and solid process experience. Solid streams process, Class A Biosolids, energy management, sidestream nutrient management,anaerobic digestion and plant cogen. Experience with large scale water treatment design and process experience. Should have strong understanding of California wastewater and recycled water permitting. Should also have a strong knowledge in California wastewater treatment laws, codes and standards.
