BridgeView IT is seeking a Enterprise Architect.  This Role is located in Parsippany, NJ   It is a RTH opportunity.

Requirements:

• BA or BS in Information Systems or a related area. Masters in CS or equivalent desired
• Minimum of 5-10 years related IT experience (minimum 5 years in Architecture & Design)
• Good planning and project management skills
• Architecture planning and management experience with a mixture of recent technologies and legacy systems
• Minimum of 2 years experience in strategic planning and managing cross-functional IT teams
• Demonstrated ability to adapt technical solutions to complex business situations and strategies
• Experience with full system lifecycle for application development
• Comprehensive business functional knowledge understanding the interactions between business processes and the data that supports those activities (travel industry experience is a plus)
• Preferred technology experiences in the following areas:
• Web Services Architecture Planning and Design
• Integration Architecture
• Application Server Technology
• Security Services and Security Access Controls
• Two or more programming language platforms, middleware technologies such as Tibco and/or JMS, integration Database platforms and similar technologies
• Proven track record for working effectively with technical and business functions
• Strong collaboration, team building and consulting skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills required both in one-on-one situations with all levels of personnel, and in facilitating group meetings

Summary:

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the assessment and direction of the clients architecture, technologies, and infrastructure services to meet current and future business needs.  This role ensures that the client designs and builds solutions & applications that enable our business in collaboration with Engineering, Technical Services and other project team members.  This role provides technical oversight to key project efforts, ensures that we do what is best for the enterprise versus the individual department as well as provide concrete guidance to align projects solutions to the macro Architecture view. The role needs to span the organizations need for enterprise architecture, with closely working with the solution architects. For large complex projects, this person will be spanning across multiple architecture domains and align multiple applications/solution/infrastructure SMEs.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in defining and implementing enterprise architecture principles, guidelines, standards, processes and methodology as well as the integration with other IT processes
• Contribute to the IT roadmap by understanding and supporting the Business needs and defining the insertion of new technologies and the retirement of old technologies. Participate in the periodic revisions and improvements to the architecture roadmap  
• Evaluate and recommend from existing and emerging technologies best fitting business and IT needs.
• Review reusability, such as opportunities for standardized technical platforms and access to shared data
• Analyze the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
• Consulting with engineering/infrastructure/project teams to fit solution to architecture across all viewpoints
• Promote the EA process, outcomes and results to the organization, including the enterprises IT and business groups
• The candidate must have demonstrated experience with services, models and design abstractions, in Enterprise and/or Solution Architecture. Experience with Business and Infrastructure Architecture is a plus
