Our client is looking for a Java Developer to join their Development team in Dublin city. The Java Developer will join a leading provider of products and consulting services to global financial institutions with 500+ staff globally and operational bases in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia . It is recognized as one of the fastest growing capital markets service providers in the world.

The Java Developer will work on software that handles multi-system and/or high volume trading activities with a broad range of mission critical data and trading systems across front, middle and back-office operations.

Required:

Working as part of our consultancy team in a highly technical and challenging environment, applicants must have the following:

• 3 to 5 years experience working in a Software engineering role.
• At least 3 years Java programming experience.
• Experience of working in a commercial business environment.

Desirable:

• Knowledge in one or more of C, C# or C++ is an advantage
• Experience in financial sector
• Strong Mathematics background is preferred
