SUMMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Oversee the work of laboratory personnel performing routine testing including planned laboratory work, evaluating performance and handling any procedural or technical problems that may occur.
Take measures to keep the laboratory running efficiently by developing and implementing quality control programs, preparing technical reports on lab activity and designing work schedules for personnel.
Learns new laboratory procedures and techniques and introduces them to their team; they perform hiring, transfer and performance appraisals.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:

Possess strong knowledge of the basic principles and laboratory applications.
Have a complete understanding of the scope of each lab project and knowledge of what deliverables are to be met;
Inspects the work of all laboratory staff members to ensure that all completed assignments meet the standards of the facility;
Lead and manage laboratory to have well operation under SOP in a safety environment;
Make sure that all the staff members follow safety procedures.
Well organized to arrange lab testing priority according to all orders schedule;
Lead to perform all basic calibration and maintenance of analytical system internally and externally;
Generate quality monthly report and lab management report;
Quality communication with suppliers and vendors;
Support business in application tests and quality complaints analysis;
Any ad hoc assignment designated by the business manager.

JOB LOCATION:

Shanghai, China

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a related laboratory environment, as well as previous supervisory experience, automobile industry is preferred;
Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry;
Good communication skills both in Chinese and English (written and spoken);
Open, Initiative and good teamwork.
