My Client, a not for profit organisation supporting communities through a range of services such as accommodation, child care and retirement living are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Officer to join their team based in Brisbane.

Accountabilities:

• Delivery of comprehensive contracting and tendering services across the organisation;
• The effective and efficient management of contracts and contract services, including adherence to governance measures;
• Contribute to the performance of the Procurement team in the areas of tender and vendor management.

Experience / Skills Required:

• A tertiary qualification in Business or an equivalent qualification;
• 3+ years demonstrated experience within a contracts environment;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure;
• The ability to identify customer requirements and implement necessary changes to ensure their needs are met;
• Advanced communication skills both written and verbal;
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office applications;
• A current drivers licence and willing to travel intrastate as required;
• CIPSA qualifications is desirable however not essential.
