Description: Purpose of Position
The IBM WebSphere Portal Senior Architect will be a lead architect of a B2B eCommerce team responsible for planning, designing and developing IBM WebSphere Portal to support distributor and dealers as well as vendors and employees later on.  Responsibilities include conceptual design, architecture and topology, solution design and implementation.  Candidate is expected to participate in gathering requirements, documenting and designing WebSphere Portal functionality and the related application integration and enhancements within the application. This includes support for application integration testing, integration development and cutover activities.

Required Skills
: Candidate should have experience in planning and implementing the IBM WebSphere Portal framework for deploying secure application functionality to distributor, dealers, vendors and employees.
: Candidate must have deep expertise using the foundation development and implementation tools, including Rational Application Developer, Java J2EE and the WebSphere Portal catalog.
: Candidate must have expertise implementing IBM Workplace Web Content Management and Workplace Forms, including modeling and workflow application analysis.
: Candidate must have expertise in web interface design.
: Candidate must have experience managing user access and security for the portal using WebSphere Application Server and LDAP servers.
: Bachelor Degree Required
