Job Description:

Our client has a permanent position for an Intermediate Systems Engineer located in Calgary. The ideal candidate will be expected to maintain and enhance the software product as apart of the Application Services Infrastructure Subsystems (ASIS) product team.

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Software Engineering or related technical/scientific degree
• 2 years minimum experience of Systems Engineering
• Must be eligible to obtain a valid Secret Security Clearance
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Use Cases analysis and System Integration.
• An understanding of networking, networking protocols, and lower level operating system concepts is a big asset
• Proficient in documenting software design using UML
• Experience with Enterprise Architect software modeling tool is an asset
• Working experience with CVS and Bugzilla is an asset
• Prefer background in both Windows and UNIX systems.
• Experience in requirements analysis and system design
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• A motivated Self-starter with an apt for negotiations
