Develop and design web applications and web sites. Responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance. Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required.

Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Expert knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise the design, build or maintenance of web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media. Supervise the writing, design, or editing web page content. Direct web site updates. Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and approve the correction of problem. Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions. Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces. Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education.

Experience with Portal 6, 7, or 8 release levels. The following skills would be desireable. Use of Java/J2EE development/support (5 yrs) Frameworks - Universal frameworks (proprietary), Spring, Hibernate, etc. JavaScript HTML Troubleshooting and analysis skills Structured System Development Experience (detailed design, code, unit test, system test, UAT and load test) Database query skills (Oracle) Database tool (e.g. Toad, SQL Developer) Java developer tool (e.g. Eclipse, RAD) Solid oral and written communication skills.
