Position: Associate Engineer-System Performance

Position Type: Contract

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Description:

Responsible for collecting and analyzing the drive test data for LTE system. The LTE equipment vendor is Ericsson. The data collection tool will be provided by Verizon Wireless and will be Datapro.

The candidate should be able to perform these tasks:

Expert at Data collection using Datapro

Ability to use the JDSU scanner and LTE UE's for data collection

Collect drive data for LTE network

Troubleshoot issues with the test gear and resolve issues independently.

Troubleshoot interference issues and capable of using spectrum analyzers for troubleshooting.

Use Windcatcher or Actix for post processing the collected data.

Support the group with pre and post testing for antenna changes.

Other requirements:

Some night work maybe required.

Basic understanding of RF principles and CDMA technology.

Candidates with Knowledge of LTE will be preferred.                          

Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Proficient in office computer applications.

Primary Skill Requirement:- 

      Drive test using Datapro and perform Shakedown, benchmarking and troubleshooting

      testing for LTE.
