Job Description: VP or Director of Sales
This Senior Business Development position within Our client is a new role and will report directly to the COO of North America. She/he will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for Our client NA.
This role will lead our efforts to continue to grow top-line revenue and maintain an above average net margin, while establishing our client as a client partner who is critical to our client?s success. The main objective for 2012 is to identify and qualify a core set of potential new clients and to close $6 million worth of business. We have a strong track record of clients, credible case studies, and examples of work that will help you to communicate the value of our services.
The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in the management consulting and professional services lines of business and consistently strive to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with our client?s vision and values. She/he will design and implement sales strategies to expand our customer base throughout North America. She/he will leverage their knowledge of the IT professional services market and their list of Executive level contacts to promote opportunities which will continuously drive business expansion and contribute to the future growth of the company.
She/he must have the ability build and manage deep, consultative customer relationships with people in any business area or level in the organization.

Responsibilities:
? Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
? Establishes and manages sales strategies for North America
? Effectively develops, negotiates and implements new business contracts to sustain industry growth with competitive pricing and market strategies
? Develops and leads customized strategic marketing programs and campaigns for current products and services of Our client, manages relationship to identify new business trends to forecast future sales.
? Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new market opportunities
? Manages contractual agreements and expand business within current account base
? Provides constructive feedback and partners with leadership to improve sales processes and service delivery performance
? Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
? Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports for quarterly and annual company forecasting reports
? Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
? Creates and conducts proposals, presentations and RFP responses
? Works with Global Leadership team to coordinate business development efforts and strategies
Basic Qualifications:
?Bachelor?s degree (Master?s preferred)
? 5-7 years of experience in consultative sales management (preferably selling IT management/professional consulting services or change management/transformational programs, Agile a plus)
? Strong business, leadership and strategic mindset to expand sales growth within North America
?Active contact list and relationships of Executives in North America that can be leveraged immediately
?Proven success selling to large enterprise clients (no specific industry sector required)
? Ability to learn and master complex concepts to sell in a relationship-oriented, thought-leadership manner
? Experience selling service solutions to large, complex organizations (preferably IT services)
? Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier/Vendor Relationship Management
? Strong understanding of Enterprise IT landscape and how technology is impacting business
? Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
? Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
?Self starter with internal drive and determination to succeed in a global, virtual start-up organization
