TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT, FULL TIME PERMANENT position with my direct client, can be located in any fo their offices in NYC, NJ,PA or NC. Salary is market rate depending on experience along with extensive corporate benefits.

WILL NEED TO:
1.Collaborate with Business Unit Managers to understand Service Strategy and Business Unit goals and priorities
2.Design and introduce new hardware, software, and network infrastructure services in line with Service Strategy and Business Unit strategies
3.Assist with management of the research lab
4.Create, drive and enforce technology standards within the enterprise
5.Understand the business and customer needs to introduce innovative technical solutions that grow the bottom line and/or speed time to market
6.Advocate for technology and process improvements that will deliver flexible platforms and processes that support agile product development and facilitate the rapid transformation of customer insight into customer value
SHOULD HAVE :
1.Infrastructure Architect with Masters degree in related field and equivalent experience in related field. (10-15 years work experience, 5 years experience as an architect preferred. Infrastructure Engineer with relevant experience will also be considered)
2.Experience with an established corporate R&D program
3.Experience with end to end infrastructure architecture and technologies (e.g. ◦Hardware engineering, and network standards, creation of infrastructure stack templates◦Storage technology◦Virtualization and Cloud Computing◦Application Servers, MQ, ESB and middleware integration◦Hardware sizing, Method to create deployment architecture, consideration of operational procedures◦Scalability, performance, reliability, availability design of compute, storage, network◦Security implications and solutions◦Load balancer (F5), directory services
4.Experience with UNIX, LINUX, and Windows server operating systems and virtualization.
5.Advanced knowledge and experience with Enterprise Service Bus and Cloud technology.
