Our client, a market-leading fixed income asset management and direct lending business, is seeking an Investor Relations Coordinator. The firm’s hold sizes range from $10 million to $100 million per transaction. They are a national firm with offices located in Chicago, New York and Atlanta. One of the diversified credit fund managers seeks a coordinator to assist with a variety of fundraising as well as special projects. This position will report to Director of Investor Relations and work closely with our Chief Investment Officer, gaining broad exposure to the business and the firm as a whole. Salary will be $50-60K + bonus & benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401k).

  Position Responsibilities

• ·Develop understanding of firm's products and clients, with a view towards assisting with strategy and execution in fundraising and investor relations, for example:
  • Creating and updating marketing materials
  • Responding to due diligence requests from potential investors
  • Dissemination information to clients and potential investors
• Coordinating communication between internal subject-matter experts (e.g., product management, legal, accounting) and investors
• Manage special projects (e.g., research, operational improvements) as needed
• Assist with scheduling internal and external meetings and managing logistics

Professional Requirements and Candidate Qualities

• Minimum 2-5 years of work experience
•  Prior work experience in the financial services or investment management industries, although not a requirement, is an advantage
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Bachelors degree, solid academic credentials and professional references
• Proven work ethic and soundness of judgment
• Adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism
