You will be working on behalf of our client on a 6 month contract to provide support in the delivery of chemical risk assessment studies.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in securing licensing
• Identify samples using microscopy techniques and identification keys
• Assist with maintenance of experimental equipment
• Collate and input data using databases and Excel
• Provide Quality Control
• Undertake other duties appropriate

Essential skills:

• Qualified to at least degree level within a relevant scientific subject with an interest in biology, ecology or environmental science
• Communicate well with others
• Competent in data validation and input
• Good numerical skills
• A full valid UK driving agency

Desirable skills:

• Experience in conduct of GLP (good laboratory practice)
• Experience in the use of microscopy
