Job Description
Are you a proactive healthcare information professional with strong presentation and client relationship skills and a working understanding of what's happening in healthcare reform?  Do you enjoy using connections to create new business opportunities?  Our team of Solutions Executives is expanding, and if you answered yes to those questions, than we need you to provide healthcare reform expertise to our field sales team.  In partnership with field sales, you will assist in accurately representing our Payment Reform solution offering including data driven consulting services and products to hospital CFOs and CMIOs. 
 
The Solutions Executive understands the current healthcare environment and has a comprehensive understanding of the implications of industry events on the Solution Suite they support. You will partner proactively with the sales team to qualify opportunities, identify and quantify client needs, define and describe the solutions to meet the customer's needs, and work closely with the consulting delivery team to finalize deals.  
 
This position can be located in one of our major office locations (Chicago, Ann Arbor or Nashville) or can be a home-based position that can be located anywhere in the United States.  For a full listing of responsibilities and skills required, please see below.
 
Responsibilities:
  • The Payment Reform Solutions Executive will be responsible for proactively supporting sales efforts related to our payment reform services and eventually product offerings. 
  • Serve as a solution expert and assist the sales team to develop new business opportunities, generate leads and qualify opportunities. Assist prospecting within existing customer base and target accounts.
  • Utilize detailed understanding of the value proposition for a specified solution suite to assist sales team in presenting these solutions to customers.
  • Analyze and quantify client needs and assist sales in developing strategies tailored to each organization.
  • Provide solution information to the sales team so they have the most current understanding of those solutions.
  • Accompany reps on sales calls or individually conduct presentations as necessary. Utilize detailed knowledge of selected solutions to be available to answer complex or difficult questions on content or methodology.
  • Support delivery of sales training so sales people can effectively describe our solutions.
  • Provide regular feedback to product management, strategic services, and other functional teams.  Represent the perspective of sales and serve as the voice of the customer on solution direction, content and functionality requests.  Quantify the requests in terms of customer feedback and opportunities lost/gained.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and other functional groups within the company.
  • Develop and maintain personal knowledge of the healthcare environment by participating in professional societies and other events that further your expertise.

  • Good familiarity with Healthcare Reform initiatives and the impact in the hospital/provider sector.
  • Comfortable presenting to Hospital C-Suite and have developed relationships with hospital executives, especially the CFO
  • Demonstrated ability to share knowledge of Healthcare solutions with others in a clear and concise manner.
  • Self-motivated; able to work strategically; able to plan, prioritize and work with a complex schedule of events and activities.
  • Ability to deliver presentations to internal and external groups
  • 5 + years of consulting and/or services sales experience in hospital market to C suite
  • Excellent presentation, organization and selling skills
  • Knowledge of the sales process, including the demonstrated ability to articulate features and benefits of Healthcare solutions. 
  • 50% travel with national geography.
  • Reasonable access to a major metropolitan airport.
