Job Description: Data/Marketing Analyst
Reporting to: Marketing Director

Job Purpose
Collate, analyse, evaluate and present various customer and marketing campaign data from across the business to provide insight into things like:
- Relationship between web activation/usage and subscription renewal
- Subscription renewals performance against price points and channels of acquisition
- Lifetime value of subscriptions and lifetime profits from marketing promotional spend
- Segmentation of customer groups against price points and product/brand engagement

Key activities
- Understanding the insight requirements of Emap’s business stakeholders
- Taking the data/marketing insight brief and delivering reports to match that brief
- Taking briefs further with own insight based upon the results of findings and streaming this back to the business leaders
- Working closely with the Marketing Director, Head of Finance and Emap’s central marketing analyst team to deliver cross-divisional insight and opportunities
- Working with various data owners and sources of data from within the Emap business to extract the information required
- Reducing the necessity of manually created/updated reports from existing information systems and data sources by working out ways of automatically updating/creating and distributing reports across the business
- Working with our external subscription bureau to analyse subscriber and customer transactional information and overlay this against other customer metrics held internally

- Awareness and/or experience of working in a B2B environment
