Head of School Effectiveness and Learning (closed)
This large organisation is a leading player in the Education Management arena. They have an immediate need for 2 Heads of School Effectiveness and Learning, one based in Leatherhead and the other based in Exeter. The key purpose of the role(s) is:
•Development and implementation of a successful school/setting effectiveness strategy
•Management of high performing consultancy to a range of schools, educational organisations and/or local authorities
•Delivered significant change as a senior school leader
Candidates should display the following key behavioural competencies:

Applications are invited from experienced individuals who possess the following experience:
•Educated to degree level or equivalent.
•Qualified Teacher Status
•Evidence of significant further study, research and continuing professional development
•Good knowledge and understanding of educational systems, local government, national and local education developments, funding sources, budgetary processes and political processes in local authorities
•Wide ranging experience of leading successful school improvement/effectiveness consultancy of a range of schools/settings, educational organisations and/or local authorities
•Good understanding of the theory and practice of change management and a successful record of handling major change.
•Experience of planning and managing the reorganisation of staffing and services, to create integrated teams of staff with the professional skills and knowledge to deliver the commissioned and traded services needed by clients.
•Extensive knowledge of current education national trends, strategies and best practice in using learning experiences to improve outcomes for children and young people.
•Experience of Resource Management to ensure that the organisation has the professional expertise, resources, working methods and capacity needed to deliver services according to client and customer needs, achieving improved outcomes for children and young people.
