Job Description:

This is a temporary engineering position in the Materials and Processes Engineering group. Responsible for M&P engineering support for company product lines to ensure hardware design and product assurance requirements are achieved within cost and schedule constraints. The selected candidate will be required to interface with program management, customers, suppliers and engineering on M&P related issues for one or more spacecraft programs.
Participate in engineering, design and qualification test reviews, and prepare M&P presentation packages as required for reviews. Identify any materials and process related issues or potential risks and provide assessment to engineering. Review the specific program requirements to ensure the compliance matrix is met for M&P requirements..
Serve as the chairperson of the materials and processes control board (MPCB) meetings with spacecraft customers. Prepare the agenda, presentation package; maintain meeting minutes and action items follow up/closure. Responsible for addressing customer’s requests and questions related to M&P

Job Requirements:

B.S. degree or the equivalent in Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of six years related working experience required.
