Upper Extremity (Hand/Wrist) Product Manager:

The Upper Extremity (Hand/Wrist) Product Manager will be part of a dynamic team managing the profitable development and support of the Hand/Wrist product lines and the Hand/Wrist business segment.

Qualifications include 2-4 years of medical device Product Management experience in the orthopedic joint reconstruction field. Knowledge of the WW medical device marketplace and has demonstrated progressive levels of accomplishment, experience in the marketing, commercialization and promotion of new products. Ability to travel extensively and must have excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills. Responsible for supporting company's worldwide marketing efforts for Ascension's Hand/Wrist product line. Develop, coordinate, and support the implementation of marketing plans, which involves product development, technical sales support and the development medical education training materials.Primary Responsibilities-        

Develop and coordinate support activities including: sales and marketing material, medical education, marketing programs for sales force. -         

Develop and work closely with Key Opinion Leaders, surgeons, R&D and field personnel regarding product input for new and sustaining products.-        

 Monitor/gather information on new market developments, needs, and competition through publications, trade journals, at trade shows, and interaction with field.-         

Develops and refines Pricing Strategy and Competitive Pricing, and Market Share Analysis, full P&L responsibility, budget management, sales forecasting, estimating potential profits.-         

New product launch planning and execution, manage product development strategy via market analysis, product strategy and research and development. -         

Conduct competitive analysis comparing product with key competitors, SWOT analysis; ongoing market segmentation analysis for existing and new products.-         

Manage the entire product line from cradle to grave, included high involvement with product development, manufacturing, QA, and Customer Service.-         

Collect product data, develop and maintain case studies of product and success stories. -         

Participate in trade shows and labs to maintain company image and remain aware of product requirements, new market opportunities and competitive products. -         

Use design input to create marketing materials such as surgical techniques, brochures, product bulletins, videos, newsletters, ads. -         

Work closely with key functional areas including, engineering, marketing communications, regulatory, sales, executive management and manufacturing. -         

Serve as a liaison between field and product development to continue to improve and develop key products/instrumentation. -         

Continually update and reports to senior leadership.

EducationB.A/B.S. degree, preferred in marketing, business, management, communications, marketing/sales or equivalent experience.
