Job Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

 

Responsible for communicating effectively with external customers involved in evidence-based healthcare decisions including but not limited to managed care organizations, private and government health plans, third party payors, pharmacy benefit managers, specialty pharmacies, compendia publishers, and technology assessment entities.

 

Evaluate and interpret medical literature, abstract and write medical information in various response formats, conduct scientific and clinical presentations.

 

Develop, synthesize and deliver medical information using many communication formats response documents, formulary dossiers, slide presentations, compendia submissions, web-based media, scientific meetings, etc.

 

Apply managed care concepts and knowledge to customize our services for managed care customers internal and external.

 

Support current team of scientists on key projects and completing tasks and deliverables.

 

Requirements:

 

Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D), residency is a plus.

 

Project management skills to coordinate team and departmental projects as needed.

 

Strong clinical knowledge, acumen and application.

 

Medical communications, medical information, or drug information experience.

 

Sound understanding of compliance, regulatory and legal topics in the pharma/biotech industry.

 

Basic computer skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint and quick learner on new IT systems.

 

Excellent written and verbal communications, teamwork/collaboration, flexibility, attention to detail, deliver on results, sound decision making, prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
