Primary Responsibility

Ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of information systems by monitoring, maintaining and optimizing networked hardware, software and associated operating systems.

Primary Duties/Skills

Management of server, network and security associated with supporting a multi-office MS Windows technology enterprise including creation, managing AD, DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP; provide troubleshooting and technical support, including lifecycle management, for new applications and servers; provide support for TCP/IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), MPLS, CISCO IOS switch programming, ASA Firewall and VPN; TCP/ IP, DNS, DHCP; Wi-Fi controllers, Cisco and AeroHive, etc. Requires expert level knowledge of a Windows 2008 server, Active Directory, Group Policy and NTFS file system as well as knowledge of Windows printer servers (queue adds, moves and changes).

Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills required; ability to shift priorities while keeping track of deadlines. Must have proven ability to collaborate with other IS team members.

Experience/Education/Certifications

Enterprise experience (700+ users in multiple locations) required. Requisite certifications with Microsoft and Cisco preferred. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent applicable experience. Law firm or other professional services organization experience preferred
