Senior JavaScript Engineer
We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer to help lead our efforts in creating browser-based visualizations as well as contribute to our overall network security Web application. You will work closely with other Web/software developers and user interface designers to create innovative solutions to analyzing and visualizing security data sets in real time at rates a thousand to a million times faster than state-of-the-art competitive systems.

Responsibilities:
Lead the discovery, design, and implementation of novel browser-based data visualization techniques for massive real-time data sets.
Architect, design, and develop a state of the art web-based security client connecting to a unique, real time data engine.
Contribute to the server-side web API layer.
Code primarily in JavaScript (jQuery and Protovis/D3) and Python.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Expert-level Javascript and jQuery.
Familiarity with data visualization, Javascript libraries and SVG (the ideal candidate is a specialist in the field).
Familiarity with Python.
B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred - M.S. a plus.
Highly productive.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter and a team player.
Relevant network security experience is a plus.
Open source contributions are a plus.
