Seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer that has a strong working knowledge of IP Routing and IP Telephony. The individual will be responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and documenting network enhancements and new IP based product offerings.

 

Job Responsibilities:

•Conducts complex telecommunications projects including design, implementation, and testing with a minimum amount of supervision and assistance

•Provides Engineering support for the operational and support groups.

•Provides design studies, equipment evaluations, and recommendations for networks improvements

•Develops documentation and procedures for newly developed products.

•Must have an in-depth understanding of IP routing, MPLS, VOIP, Cisco, and telecommunications circuit installation and operation

 

Job Requirement:

•CCNA or better level of Cisco Certification

•5+ years’ experience designing and building IP networks

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred

•Knowledge of Acme Packet Session Border Controllers is a plus

•Formidable troubleshooting skills is essential

•Strong oral and written communication abilities

•Customer service focused
