For this contract to hire opportunity the candidate will work 8am to 5pm with on-call.

OVERVIEW:

Job Description: Need a Mid-Level Sharepoint Admin that is proficient with the following tasks.

Problem, Incident and Event (PIE) Management
• Respond to unplanned service interruptions or reductions of quality
• Identify, categorize, diagnose and resolve Service Problems, Incidents and Events
• Maintain and monitor Event and log file analysis, mechanisms and rules
Request Fulfillment
• Create and configure Portals, Site Collections, Sites, and Workspaces
• Configure Information Management Policies
• Configure User Alerts and/or RSS Feeds*
• Create and configure Document, Form, Wiki, Picture, Link, Slide, and Report Libraries*
• Create and configure, Calendars, Announcement, Contacts, and Discussion Boards*
• Create and configure Survey, Issue, Task, KPI, and Custom Lists*
• Create and configure Basic and Web Part Pages*
• Create and configure Site Columns and Content Types*
• Create and configure Standard Workflows*
• Configure Standard Master Pages and Themes- Service Request*
• Site owner/Designer group has ability to complete these tasks. The option remains to create a service request for these tasks to be completed by vendor.
Access Management
• Integral to the request for new site creation will be the following access configuration:
o Creation of 4 groups per site
? [sitename]_Owners (with designer access)
? [sitename]_Designers
? [sitename]_Contributors
? [sitename]_Viewers
o Placement of users within standard groups
o Content permissions will be inherited from standard site group permissions.
o All access requests will need to have approval from a member of the site Owners group
• Any variation from the standard access management will require service requests in addition to site creation service request.
Operations Management
• Configure and monitor backups, restores and scheduled tasks
• Configure Search, search scopes and crawl settings
• Generate and Analyze Performance and Usage reports
• Recommend changes regarding optimization and best practices.
• Configure Authoritative Pages, Content Sources, Thesaurus and Noise Words
• Configure Navigation (Top Link Bar, Quick Launch, Tree View), Taxonomy, and Regional settings
Event Management
• Configure Navigation (Top Link Bar, Quick Launch, Tree View), Taxonomy, and Regional settings
