Job Description:

Be part of a dynamic team that manages all aspects of system integration.  Primary responsibilities are systems management and administration of Linux-based and Windows servers spread across multiple hardware platforms. Responsibilities also include planning and implementation of projects, problem determination and root cause analysis, operating system installation, configuration, and upgrades, system tools installation and maintenance, system support, develop and maintain automation scripts, system resource management and tuning, infrastructure and applications monitoring, and security.  The ideal candidate is end-user focused, responds to issues with urgency, and highly motvated. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain local and remote servers
• Manage and implement projects while reporting frequent status
• Take lead role researching, recommending, implementing, and maintaining new technologies
• Take lead role in troubleshooting, analyzing issues, and provide effective solutions
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux and Windows Server 2003/2008 operating systems
• Schedule and perform hardware/software maintenance
• Install, configure and support all network infrastructure equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, loadbalancers, SPAM filter, LDAP, VPN, DHCP, and DNS servers)
• Utilize system monitoring tools and take immediate action when alerted
• Manage system backups and daily reports
• Manage and maintain Linux Clusters
• Manage Database and Web servers
• Develop shell scripts to improve efficiency and automate system task
• Provide root cause analysis and corrective action plans
• Assist in Disaster Recovery planning and testing
