Senior Consultant - Strategy Consultancy - Media focus (closed)
Are you a strategy consultant with a creative/entrepreneurial spark keen to work with major broadcasting and digital media clients on pure strategy projects? We are looking for individuals who possess analytical and leadership skills as well as having the ability to be innovative and be comfortable dealing at board level. Prior Industry knowledge would be beneficial however we are keen to speak with generalist strategy consultants interested in the sector.
My client works on critical issues for senior business leaders of well-known companies across the creative spectrum including AOL, Sky, Channel 4, BBC, NBC, Yahoo! and Disney. They have particular strength in innovation and helping to build/strengthen digital media strategies but projects are wide ranging to include market entry, assessment of investment opportunities to mobile content, connected TV and convergence as well as consumer insight. They are seen as thought leaders and actively participate in industry events and host executive roundtables.
They are an ambitious firm who have doubled in size in the last year and now need someone to work just beneath the partners leading projects and mentoring a team of junior consultants.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Consultant who possesses circa 4-8 years of experience, this should be predominantly in a strategy consulting environment however candidates who possess corporate strategy experience gained within a media focused company will be considered. Relevant candidates should possess the following –
High level of academic achievement - 2:1 or first class degree (or equivalent) from a leading University. Postgraduate candidates welcomed
Strategy skills and project leadership experience
Passion for the media, technology and communications sectors
Analysis and research skills, both quantitative and qualitative
Strong presentation, written, time management, creative and judgement skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Travel is rarely outside of the UK and most clients are London based.
