Seeking Programmer who possess the following technical knowledge. This position is located at Kelly Distribution Center and is a contract to hire role.

Technical Skill Sets

• Strong VB.NET and ASP.NET experience
• Strong Web interactive (i.e. order cart, inquiry) experience or strong windows application experience
• Experience using Web Services
• Experienced in using Active Reports
• Strong skill set in using MS SQL 2005
• Experienced in Web page uploading
• Experienced IIS configuration
• Experienced classic ASP for legacy programs – helpful
• Experienced VB6 for legacy programs – helpful
• Knowledge in using Oracle packages – helpful
• Oracle version 8 a plus – helpful
• Understanding Oracle schema strengths and limitations – helpful
• Application of Skill Sets
  • Capable of quickly reviewing source code
  • Proficient ability to analyze code syntax to resolve issues affecting production
  • Competent in modifying existing programs having multiple authors and modifiers
  • Understands protecting source and data integrity
  • Displays a strong ability to unit test and debug in a standalone program as well as interaction of dependent and multi-tasking programs
  • Is not challenged when crossing multiple language platforms or operating systems
  • Is not challenged when crossing multiple database platforms such as MS SQL and Oracle
  • Is not challenged when crossing multiple system platforms including external platforms belonging to the company as well customer secured servers
  • Has a grasp for the importance of programming/database relationships, concepts, data elements, procedures, and standard work practices in the life cycles within a production environment
