Description

This geologist will report to the senior asset geologist and play a key role in support of the Exploration development of a key asset in the Anadarko Basin. This geologist will be responsible for conducting and coordinating with a multi-discipline team, integrating complex geological, geophysical, engineering, and production information to support field development efforts on major projects and re-developments.

Demonstrate competency in basic geological techniques and will receive training in more specialized approaches.
Experience in Texas and Oklahoma mountain-front Granite Wash plays is a plus
Require knowledge of well-site supervision and geosteering of horizontal drilling.
Demonstrate competency in basic economic evaluation of oil and gas projects
This position requires < 5% overnight travel

Requirements

Degree Required: Master's Degree in Geology preferred
3 years minimum experience
Skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Petra and/or other geological mapping software.
Basic skills in formation evaluation utilizing modern and vintage well-log data.
Work in a multi-disciplined team environment demonstrating effective planning, organizing and project skills
