Technical Manager (M&S)

Our client is an absolute leader in their field, supplying the premium UK food retailers. They are renowned for growing, packing and selling fresh produce from their own production units in the UK and Europe as well as having a great rapport with external growers and customers. Our client is now seeking a Technical Manager to join their highly motivated team and to continue to deliver exceptional quality products to their customers.

The post holder will also be an essential part of the Technical team supporting the Head of Technical to develop technical systems within the business and to be involved in product development, working closely with the commercial and operational teams. Essential requirements are that you are audit and HACCP experienced. Field to Fork would be very desirable but could be part of your personal development plan within the business.

The successful candidate is likely to be someone with major retailer experience. You will need to be a self starter and have excellent interpersonal skills, with a partnership approach to working with suppliers and growers and able to develop and maintain them the highest technical standards.
